Two things that I liked

The first one is True Detective, a new series that follows two detectives through a 17-year hunt for a serial killer. One of the detectives is Matthew McConaughey, his character is just perfect, weird, mysterious, full of personal issues. Only four episodes so far but they have been just awesome...

The other day I saw 12 years a slave, I can't say I liked it, but I have to agree it is a great movie and it is really well done. But the feeling of disgust and anger throughout the movie were just way too much for me, it is a very perturbing movie, specially if we consider it is based on a true story. The guy in the movie actually had a happy ending but all that comes to your mind in the end was what about the others? And we sadly know the answer for that one. And yeah Chiwetel definitely deserves the oscar!
