Happy New Year =)

Here I was thinking about my 2013, 2013 was not the best year of my life! I had a crapy 2013 with some very few, but very good moments. For next year I ask for health and wealth, and from there I will make it work!
Many things will change in my life in 2014, and no it's not part of my new year resolutions because I have none. I am not starting any crazy diet, or getting a new hair cut, I am just realizing as I am getting older that life just changes and there's nothing you can do to stop it. So just roll with it...
Next year I will be moving to Heidelberg (small but CUTE place in Germany), despite all the nasty comments from my friends saying I should have gone otherwise. I will start a postdoc position and try to do the best out of it, we shall see how it goes.
For you guys I wish all the best for 2014 =)
And to finish the year with something stupid as it is kind of a rule in this blog, I introduce you to the New Year's eve tradition in a small place called Lebanon in United States, there they usually drop at midnight a 90 Kg sausage (called Bologna) to celebrate the New Year. I heard this from a friend who actually watched this happening, which makes me wonder about some of my friends mental health!

PS: Almost forgot to wish for a better year for my country, because seriously it is starting to be hard to get any worse than this.
