American politicians

The election for senate will be happening soon in USA. On tv you can already see all the commercials about the candidates and one thing I noticed that is different from Portugal, is the fact that instead of criticizing each other ideas or plans the candidates basically trash each other. One of the candidates on Connecticut where I live is Linda Macmahon. You are probably asking who she is, except if you are a wrestling fan! This woman,  quoting wikipedia is notable for her career developing the WWE with her husband, putting it simple she is responsible for the equivalent to soap operas but for for guys (I am sorry if you disagree but the level of bad acting and drama is exactly the same).
