I love it...

It is sad that it took me 27 years to actually get to see live my first hockey game and how much was I missing... It is awesome!!! For the ones that do not know: it starts with anthem (americans and patriotism!!), there is hotdogs, nachos and popcorn being moved around, the game itself has 3 parts of 20min with breaks of 15 (during that time a huge machine comes in and mends the ice), the game itself is fast and furious, they are not gentle at each other, there is lots of moving around and it never gets boring, there was even a broken stick. There is music throughout the all thing, the marching band (and I will never call them dorky again, they are actually so much fun, and they probably did the best choreography ever of Gangnam Style) and music from the actual rink. The referees are not forgotten and each time they came out from the breaks people actually show them money or cards. I was expecting a little bit more from the supporters, the worse things I heard were you suck and it was your fault (to the other teams goalkeeper when yale scored a goal), but I should not be expecting good swearing from these kids, after all they are ivy league.
