Naming my baby

I don't know if I have shared with you the fact that I am naming my protein. For my non scientist readers (I am actually curious to know if all the people  that read my babbling are actually also Phd students or if the other people also relate to what I write) if we are the first lucky bastards to describe a protein you can actually name it. In yeast you can give a 3 letter acronym followed by a number and the acronym usually relates to the function of your protein. Many times you come across names as interesting as AAA which stands for ATPases associated with diverse cellular activities, just kidding... In flies they actually give names to the genes and not acronyms and some of them  names are actually pretty humorous, for example you have a gene named maggie for flies in which the development has been arrested, I would check this website for more funny names: http://jpetrie.myweb.uga.edu/genes.html.
But going back I am naming my protein and the last few days I have received some nice suggestions from colleagues at the lab. They have suggested PIA or BIA (and yes both relate to the function of my protein) but more importantly both have hidden meanings.
BIA= Beb is awesome
PIA= Pain in the ass
COC= you know what (and although this suggestion came from my boss no way I am calling my protein this)
I was super fine with BIA but then I remembered that we shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain (and yes I am referring to me =)). I am kind of ok with PIA because in fact my protein and my Phd have been a huge pain in the ass for me but the problem is that PIA in portuguese means troth which would be weird... I will keep you updated on this subject!

PS: As promised this weekend I have been looking for labs, so far I have 5 possibilities and I am not totally convinced by neither of them =/
